Helpful information for those who wish to join the server
Q: "WHEN WILL THE MAP BE RESET?"
A: Never.
Q: "WHEN DID THE SERVER START?"
A: May 2019.
Q: “WHERE CAN I START BUILDING? HOW DO I CLAIM A PLOT?”
A: You can build on any place that is not claimed, to claim a spot mark it with distinctive blocks. If you have close neighbors, it’s better to talk with them about your projects. For projects in spawn, it’s better to talk about your project with some board members or admins.
Q: “WHERE CAN I BUILD A SHOP? WHAT IS THE CURRENCY OF THE SERVER?”
A: Check the shop rules in "Rules" for any shop in our community cities, there is no official currency but people mostly use diamonds.
Q: “DO YOU HAVE AN AFK KICKER?”
A: No, but there are server restarts every 24 hours to keep it healthy. Admins reserve the right to kick AFK players if the server is busy and TPS is low.
Q: “DO YOU USE COMMANDS LIKE /SHOP OR /TP?”
A: No.
Q: “HOW VANILLA ARE YOU?”
A: "100%" vanilla, basically as vanilla as we can be. However, we do have two plugins, CoreProtect and LuckPerms, and a few datapacks for 1-player sleep and statistics. These plugins do not impact gameplay at all and we only used them for protection.
Q: “WHAT IS THE MAXIMUM DISTANCE OR WORLD BORDER FOR THE WORLD?”
A: The vanilla limit, 30,000,000 blocks out.
Q: “BY "NO ATTACKING OTHER PLAYERS" DO YOU MEAN THAT PVP IS NOT ALLOWED EVEN WHEN CONSENSUAL?”
A: No, consensual PvP is allowed.
Q: “ARE SERVER EVENTS COMMON? WHEN DO THEY TAKE PLACE?”
A: We don’t have events too often, but they are usually when there is a holiday so most players can participate.
Q: “ON A SCALE OF PEPE THE FROG TO SHREK, HOW DANK IS THE SERVER?”
A: Yes.
Q: “IS THE SEED PUBLIC?”
A: No.
Q: “DO YOU ALLOW THE TNT DUPLICATION GLITCH?”
A: Yes.
Q: “HOW MANY PLAYERS ARE WHITELISTED AND HOW MANY ARE USUALLY ON THE SERVER?”
A: There are about 80 players whitelisted and we are not planning on expanding past 100. There are usually 5-10 players on during weekdays and 10-20 players on during weekends and events. The record amount of players online at the same time is 24.
Q: “What server type (.jar file) do you use?”
A: We use PaperMC as our server software.
Q: “Is there a public X farm?”
A: Most likely, no. The two public XP farms in the end are the only real "public" farms (maintained by the community). If you want to use an already existing farm you must ask the owner of the farm for permission first. This includes AFKing and gathering the resources obtained during your session.
